PERIYAR COMPUTER CENTRE

The Computer Centre caters to the needs of students and faculty for their research and teaching. It manages and administers high computing and other services such as DTP works and helps by managing computing resources which are available centrally or in various departments.

A centrally air-conditioned Computer Centre operates ten hours a day and has a power back up through a 10 KVA UPS and a 125 KVA Generator.

All the servers, computers and printers in the Centre are connected through a 1 GB network. The rest of the institute is also connected to the campus Local Area network

Internet Section

The institution is having excellent Internet Section with 25 systems with 1 GB broadband facility for Student and Staff for their research work

On screen Evaluation of theory Answer Booklet (ONEAB) Facility

The computer centre five number of computer connected with Aadhaar Based Bio-metric device to conduct On-Screen evaluation of Answer Booklets of the University Theory Examinations under a Controlled Environment at the affiliated institutions of the university with Inter. This environment in under CCTV surveillance.
