ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY

First Year admission

A Pass in +2 or equivalent with minimum of 40 % aggregate for general category and 35 % for SC/ST candidates in one of the following group of subjects

  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology
  • Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology
  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science

Direct Second Year Admission (Lateral Entry)

A Pass in Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with minimum of 40% marks in aggregate for general category 35% of marks in aggregate for SC / ST candidates is required

DURATION OF THE COURSE

The course of B.Pharmacy is for a period of four academic years. The curricula and syllabi for the course will be prescribed from time to time by the Pharmacy council of India (PCI), New Delhi & the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
